Day 15 Camino Atapuerca to Burgos

Todays stretch of Camino took us to one of the major cities on the route. Burgos is a lovely town and has arguably one of the great gothic cathedrals of Spain. Started in the 12th century it really is a wonderful example of Spanish gothic architecture. John and I paid the entry price to walk round the cathedral (great value at a discounted price of 5 euros for us dirty pilgrims! ) mad we both enjoyed the impressive architecture.
We struggled to get accommodation in Burgos as the city seemed to be full or booking.com were charging silly money for rooms. We fortunately managed to eventually get an RBnB staying at a friendly Spaniards flat. It was pretty basic but we were glad to grab somewhere to rest our weary bodies.
