Ullswater

The day was in danger of disappearing into obscurity and sadness so I finally got going, put the bike on the rack, headed to the lake, parked up and cycled to the old swim spot for a swim and to check out the bluebells (extra). I warned two sets of couples, who had parked up, about the enforcement of the parking restrictions. It was just in time. As they headed back to their vehicles the community police pulled up. 
On my way back I went into my favourite post office for an ice cream.
