Tulips

Got up early to go for a run in the hotel gym this morning, can’t stand running on a dreadmill and it was hot in the gym. Breakfast was nice and it was good that we didn’t need to leave till 9am. We were taken over the Hague to visit the art gallery there and to see some Rembrandts, including the girl with the pearl earing. We had a guide, which was nice, but we only had an hour there which wasn’t long enough, but I did get a quick visit to the shop. Back in the coach to head over to Keukenhof gardens to see the tulips. The guide suggested hiring a wheelchair for mum which turned out to be a great idea as I pushed her for 5K looking at all the flowers. Gardens were great and we were lucky with the weather as it didn’t rain and the wind dropped a bit. Treated ourselves to some chips and the cone came with its own sauce holder. Had another walk up to the canal to get some food and ended up in an Italian place by the waterside.
