Monday: Going Nowhere

K and I are making a bit of an unexpected trip back to the UK at relatively short notice.

We’re flying via Houston and, despite a two hour transit time, it was very stressful. Immigration and security took ages - I never understand why you have to do both when you’re just transiting.  

Anyway, after all the rush, we’re now horribly delayed as the original plane has been taken out of commission.  We enquired about an upgrade, and after a good bit of banter with the staff, have been upgraded for free.  Woot woot!

Also, a lovely fellow traveller called Jessica gave me half a banana.
