High Price Broom Rest

The annual trip to Woking and on to Twickenham for the Army v Navy rugby match has arrived.
Sam and I set off at around 11:00am for the 240 mile trip to Woking. Roadworks with average speed check zones of 50mph along the A303 interspersed with 30mph zones slowed us, not as much as those eastbound, they were at a standstill for huge sections of the A303.
We arrived and were directed to the multi-storey car park in the shopping centre, I feel paying this may come as a rude surprise on Sunday.
The hotel, one of the city centre chains, was as we always expect, it’s somewhere to get your head down.
We dropped the bags and headed off for something to eat.
A couple of beers and dinner before a relatively early night.
