Miranda

We are away in the caravan. First night at Miranda which is a favourite place for us to camp. It’s a seashore reserve for sea birds because of its shallow water and shell fish habitat where the birds feed. The shore is covered in empty shells.
We called into Te Aroha on the way to catch up with my husbands sister. The NZ TV program “The Gone” was filmed there. The final episode in the first series was a cliff hanger so I was pleased to see they are filming another series in the town. The first extra photo is the building used as the police station. The police cars have the word “Police” painted out and the words “Production vehicle” in it place.
