Art for arts sake

Met my lovely friend Sarah at the Hepworth in Wakefield and enjoyed lunch and a good catch up as well as the art.
There’s a good still lives exhibition drawn from the Wakefield municipal collection and a Kim Lim who I hadn’t heard of before. Loved her stone carvings. But the revelation was Andrew Cranston. Gorgeous dreamlike images and the stories that went along with them made me want to go to the pub with him.
Came home to some truly horrible news. More of that later when it’s been processed a bit but me and mine are fine so don’t worry about us!
