Poor Oscar!

My poor boy got stuck in the gate from the pool. He had been playing around the pool with the boys and was being splashed and loving it, then he heard me. He tried to get to me but the gate was locked...so he tried to go through it and got stuck. He was stuck for about half an hour. He had got through up to his bottom and it was his bottom that got stuck.....think he has a big bum like me! We tried to pull him through but he just wouldn't budge. We were holding him up because he was so uncomfortable. Then we tried to push him backward but he was jammed. He was more comfortable like that. That's when I took this photo. We left him to see if he would try and get out himself but he didn't. I was about to find a saw to saw him out when the gate opened. He yelped and struggled and wriggled then he went backwards and hey presto he was free....my heart was in my mouth. I know he's naughty but I do love him.

I've been a busy bee yet again. Cleaning the cars today. I have a big old ford Explorer which has been sold and is going on Monday. I needed to clean it out. We have had it years. I found so much rubbish. I found a toothbrush, umpteen pens and pencils, CD's, swimming goggles, two scrapers, Sellotape, £1.50 and a tooth....I think the fairies forgot to pick that one up. I also found some homework my son had done at primary school...he's now 19! Yes it's been a long while since it was cleaned out. Then I thought I'd give my nice new car a clean too. I'll be really sad to see my Explorer go.

My friend came for a coffee today. She is the one I helped move. More bad news for her. Her dad has terminal cancer.....and all I can do is be her friend....wish I could do more.
