Back home

I got up at 6 and was at Edinburgh airport by 7.30. Home before 11.30 am. Time to unpack and make some lunch, then off to the Oxfam shop. Spring or even summer suddenly seems to have reached Bristol. I was wearing woolly gloves before I left.  A quick look in the garden, and a refill of the bird feeders - I found that the wonderful bees (and other pollinators to be fair) had done their magic in the apple tree and there are tiny fuzzy embryo apples all over it.  So lovely to see. 
In the evening, I had planned to start catching up with people’s journals but by the time I’d fed the cat and myself, and done a few essentials, I was so tired I had to go to bed early.  I’ll catch up over the next couple of days, apologies I haven’t been keeping up at all.
