What a rainy day

We went to Trengwainton gardens, which is a wonderful place to visit in May.  Lots of rhododendrons, bluebells and many other flowers. The main is of a tree fern, with some camellias in front. The first extra is of the plants beside the stream, including parasol primulas in front, and bluebells behind. Then a rhododendron, and a calla lily with a tiny spider. While we had lunch in the cafe there, the heavens opened and there was a deluge. On the short drive back to Penzance, the roads were seriously flooded with deep pools in some places. We stayed at home then, and watched DVDs and quizzes on tv:)
