New Leaves

These newly unfurled copper beech leaves are such a beautiful colour, I just couldn't resist using them as my main blip.

B and I went to Pensthorpe this afternoon and very much enjoyed all the lush green spring growth and birdsong. Especially as the weather was glorious, warm and sunny.

Despite taking loads of photos of ducks, geese and waders, I was drawn to plant life again.  I've added an extra of an unfurling fern and some bluebells. I'm pretty sure that Bom will be including some bird life in her blip today.
