Holiday ritual..

… in Helsinki.  Mark insists the ritual of a G&T is essential to initiate any holiday. We are trying some local Helsinki gin and it’s rather nice! 

We had glorious sunshine leaving London, after a relaxed drive, quiet Heathrow and smooth flight to Helsinki with Finnair. Next we get a charter flight to Longyearbyen in Svalbard where we will join our expedition tomorrow. There are blue skies here this evening, two hours ahead of the UK, but dinner calls and we’ll be needing an early night!
