Stag night? Lock all doors and windows

We passed snakes on the road today as we were arriving at our next destination. Reluctantly we had left our wonderful French friends in Cognac & Javrezac and headed east. We have been to this beautiful site several times in the past, but ..... We have never seen one of these! Windows and doors will be securely locked tonight. Not sure what it is, but think it might be an ENORMOUS stag beetle. Nearly as big as K! Haven't seen any spiders yet! No Wi-Fi on site. Here for 3 nights unless more monsters find us!
