How it began

An unbelievable night for so many people, I just couldn’t believe my eyes! I got a red alert on my phone, as I have done before but this was incredible. We could see it with our naked eyes but the colours were obviously more vivid through the lens.
I had to wake the children; they were still so sleepy I’m not sure they saw much, they muttered a few quiet wows but were shivering and wanted to get back to bed. I wish I’d waited because by the early hours of the morning the show was unreal! No need to look through the lens, just pure magic. Something I will remember forever.
