Leeds Marathon

The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon came past our house today! We went out bright and early to see if we could see the first runners but missed them by about five minutes. The atmosphere was great and many of the locals were lining the streets cheering on the runners. There were a good selection of hand-written signs, small children giving high-fives, people holding out bowls of jelly babies and a couple of enterprising people with hosepipes to cool down those who needed it!
