Kongsfjorden
We had a calm sailing today towards the Ossian Sarsfjellet island which is at the far end of the Kongsfjorden. This is a protected Nature Reserve and the mountains form a fascinating geological mosaic. It has been cloudy, snowing, sunny and bright it seems all at the same time. Conditions change really fast. We did not see a lot of wildlife today, apart from a few seals lounging on ice which were rather far away. A couple in extras showing how the sea, ice, sky and light changed today.
We will need to draw the blackout curtains tonight to get some sleep. No sunset nor sunrise is quite disorientating.
