Random Building...

One of our favourite walks when we're up in Northumberland starts right from the cottage in Detchant.

We take in views over The Cheviots, watch sand lizards at the edge of the woods and visit St Cuthbert's Cave.

And on our return leg we always pass this derelict hut. It looks like an old railway carriage? We've no idea why it's there or how it got there, but it's still there...

Our first evening meal out was at The Potted Lobster in Bamburgh.
