Scene from the tarn
A very pleasant morning that involved a cruisey coffee (or two), a wonderful walk and some lovely time connecting with nature. It may have been at the top of the Lewis Pass (the sign a few hundred metres along the road from the tarn says "Lewis Pass Summit 907m". How can a pass have a summit??) but it really wasn't cold which made it a very pleasant morning indeed. Headed away early afternoon - a straightforward drive of just a couple of hours or so plus stops. Now at St Arnaud where I was hoping the skies would clear and I'd have a spectacular view of the lake with the milky way rising up over it. Cloud stopped that idea in its tracks and the weather tomorrow may even get rainy. Might get home sooner in the day rather than later if that transpires.
