Getting Prepared

We're soon off on a longer trip in our van but decided it would be sensible to have a night away, just trying things out. It will be our first camper van night in 2024, and our first sleep in the van since October 20th, almost 7 months ago.
So that's tomorrow!
We filled up with water, and checked all the systems. Everything seems to be working fine, except one of the back doors which has very stiff hinges. That's not a huge problem just now but Internet tells me it could become serious, and it isn't easy to fix!  Ho-hum, something to think about...
Clean bedding, towels, and some books for the longer trip. We have coffee!
Another very warm day with temperatures around 25°C, sunny weather, and a classic summer sky, filled with many smallish cumulus clouds.
The trees are all turning green, filling with buds. The extra shows our birch tree with a gradation from a greenish top with many buds, to a less green base where the buds are present but still very small.
Life is good!
