Porlock Weir

A nice day today albeit a bit breezy by the coast.
Morning coffee in Selworthy, a National Trust owned hamlet just past Minehead. All the houses are thatched and no cars are allowed.
Sal was horrified to see the NT shop closed due to it being rethatched as she wanted to buy a book by a local poet which they stocked. Sat outside Periwinkle cafe for a coffee and all was good. It’s one of our fav places.
It was then down the road to Porlock Weir, another lovely spot. Sal was chuffed because a local art gallery had the book she wanted.
Everyone now happy and content as we headed back to base where I prepared my ‘holiday’ curry and Sal did her cross-stitch.
Watched Spurs v Man City at night.
