Walking The Plank

Paid a visit to Illfracombe and Woolacombe today just to see what they were like. They were not really our cup of tea to be honest although the harbour area of Illfrcombe was quite nice and we found a lovely family run cafe. Very busy though and a bit run down and dated.
We didn’t stop at Woolacome as every carpark had a standing charge of ten pounds per day and we only wanted to stop for a quick look around. It did look to have a massive sandy beach but seemed to be a bit of a family destination.
Returned to the sanity of Watchet and had salad and quiche bought from the local Sam’s Deli before we set off for tea. Delicious!
Footy for me and cross-stitch for Sal after tea. We certainly live a rock and roll lifestyle don’t we?
