Rainclouds
Bang! Bang! Bang! on the front door at half-past eight this morning (I really must get that bell installed). Shit!, Shit! Shit! where's me sodding socks? Crikey, how many buttons does a shirt need ..where's me trousers....
So I finally get downstairs with my shirt-tail sticking out of my flies, and open the door to .......Lee, my next door neighbour, who is in a state of extreme agitation caused by a mixture of excitement and pride.
He wants me to come and look at his newly installed double-glazing!
Flippin' 'eck.
I tell him I'll be round in 15 minutes.
So I go back upstairs, get undressed and dry myself off from the shower I was having when the door started banging, and then re-dress in distinctly damp clothes, finish my tea, and toddled round to inspect his double glazing....
At nine- thirty, I left for work.
It's been that sort of day, piss..istant rain, dull and ordinary in the office, and an air of general dampness. The only dryness was in the blipping department, where a dry blip day was a racing certainty.
The planes tonight were gliding in through very low cloud and torrential rain, so I thought they are the only things worth blipping - either that, or navel fluff.
Trouble is, the light was fading and they were ranging from low to no contrast. So focussing was difficult.
Anyway I got this one of a plane coming in from the Middle-East. Poor sods!
