Kittens start on solid food

Jake was off today on a teacher training day, so he was able to help a lot with Eva for me while I spent extra time with the kittens getting them onto solid foods at just over 3 weeks of age. 2 of the kittens didn't need any encouragement at all and were wolfing it down lol, the other 4 took a bit of coaxing and feeding by my hand and off my hand but they picked it up straight away. I normally start to wean bang on 3 weeks old but it seems those extra 2 days has made quite a bit of difference.

Today's pic shows them not long after they'd had their fill all spark out with full little bellies. I thought it was funny how they'd all gone into an alternate corner.

Spent the afternoon making a start on sorting Jakes drawers out in his room of what fits, doesn't fit, what he wants and doesn't want to keep and putting things altogether like all the tops together, pyjamas together instead of 1 top here, some trousers there. I don't know, boys eh? Lol! Also ordered him some nice new clothes from Next Directory for the Summer.

Kerry came round in the afternoon and did me a spray tan so I don't look too much like a milk bottle for Anna's wedding on Sunday. It was then a case of how do I not get tan all over Eva? I obviously hadn't thought it through. So hence to say Eva got tan all over her hands, her face, her head and her finger nails, and I ended up with a few untanned patches lol, oh well!! Haha
