The quarrel of Oberon and Titania - and a fan
The quarrel of Oberon and Titania by Sir Joseph Noel Paton is Mr hazelh's favourite picture. This afternoon we visited it in its new location in the Scottish National Gallery.
Afterwards we joined the 2024 inaugural 'Friendly Friday' drinks in our shared garden. I enjoyed talking to a husband and wife from Staffordshire who are staying with a couple of our neighbours over the weekend. Meanwhile Mr hazelh chatted with a neighbour who knows a descendant of the artist who painted The quarrel of Oberon and Titania.
More routine tasks and activities were accomplished earlier in the day such as five loads of washing, some (but not all) unpacking from our recent travels, and exercise (although not as much as usual).
Exercise today: pilates; short swim (lengths not counted); walking (19,186 steps).
