Greece day 7

Day 6 Ancient Olympia to Dafni. Just 44 miles but another epic climb back up into the mountains - 20 miles and now at 850m. Most of the climbing was this morning. We have seen lots of sheep and goats with their shepherds and a donkey at last! The scenery was spectacular again.

We are staying in a mountain hotel and a lady let us in then went away again. So we have been the only ones here for about an hour. We found the kettle and enjoyed some tea.  Lots of dogs today, mostly ok, although when they stumble out the bushes half dazed then spring into life when they see us, it reminds me of the zombies on the walking dead. Likewise, the deserted hotel is reminiscent of that….or is it the shining! 
Anyway where we are staying is gorgeous and I am glad we have split this epic day into 2 rides.
