Gathering lilacs

The sea fog lifted earlier in the morning and the sky turned blue.

Our neighbour’s lilac has been lovely but is beginning to turn. Fortunately there are a few flower heads in good condition.

As our (current) visiting dog had me up early I got email typing done and was able to get out late morning to enjoy the sunshine. Did more weeding and planting as well as potting and earthing up potatoes. All while listening on my earphones to the proceedings from the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland for a while.

Watched the first episode of Rebus on BBC 1. I'll give it time. I had recorded it from BBC Scotland last night but because the footie over-ran I missed most of the programme. Odd that BBC Scotland had been promoting itself for showing Rebus on Friday - presumably to attract viewers to the channel - then they let the footie take priority. Some scheduling issues there!
