Jackdaw proofing

The jackdaws have taken a liking to the wool lining this spring and stripped almost all of it(see extra). So as part of the reconstruction, I have added some second hand, small guage netting.  

I have also put up two hanging baskets without added netting. So another little experiment underway. Will the netting protect the trough or will the jackdaws learn to hang from the hanging baskets to get their wool fix.
