One Hundred Temple

A beautiful summer Saturday. Z away with boulder squad in the Peak District. Cycled into the city center with Alison & Leyla, for lunch in the blazing sun. On the way there we passed 100 Temple Street, a big office block that used to house a big accountants (and before that a big insurance company) but is now vacant and has recently been purchased by the City Council.

In overcast or rainy weather this place looks pretty dismal. But, with the brilliant sunshine picking out every contour, and the concrete frame casting stark dark shadows, and the pure blue sky as backdrop, it made for a nice abstract.
