Lunch in the South
An impromptu drive South today.
Initially to The Goyt Valley and a walk around Erwood Hall ruins. The clouds were low down and the sun never appeared then fog/mist on the Cat and Fiddle road almost made us turn for home.
Instead we drove South in and out the clouds until we were in Staffordshire.
This is the restaurant at Tittesworth Reservoir we had a sit down meal and then sun appeared.
The couple of hours were very pleasant including some time in bird Hide at the north end including seeing a rare bird a Willow Tit - I am not even sure if I have ever seen one before.
Good fun watching Cormorants diving frog ether and watching Oystercatcher s feeding large youngsters
