Just a perfect day!

What a day!

Started off with a 5k run, this was jogging and walking, in a time of 42 minutes and 44 seconds. Not great but you've got to start somewhere, that's my benchmark for improvement. I'll post updates to hopefully show that improvement.

Then after last week's disappointment a sensational performance by the British & Irish Lions in smashing Australia 42-16 and winning the test series! After a lot of nonsense spoken about in the week, the boys just went out there and smashed it. And how about Leigh Halfpenny? That guy is just pure class and has had an absolutely incredible year! Well done everyone involved from players, coaches and management! Four nation's one team!

This was the first test series win for the Lions since 1997, it's been too long and now in 4 years' time we'll be back down under to take on the All Blacks. I've already started saving for that trip.

After that I spent the day down the Mumbles with my mother and father, great family time and scorchio weather. Just a perfect day!
