another one joins the club

two amazing things happened today.

1) my friend of 23 years, claire jones (richards!) turned 30. hoorah! what a wonderful year it's been for her: becoming mrs richards, buying a house and turning 30. marvellous.

2) the sun shone. for the entire day. bliss.
