Back Garden

Beautiful sunny day today. And hot too, the sort of heat that catches you unawares and bamm hits you when you realise your little ones have been outside for a couple of hours with no sunscreen on.

Anyway, started the day a little too early. The middle one came into our room just after 7 despite having been given strict instructions not to get out of bed until 8.30. Once in he woke the littlest and the merry go round of the day started. Before we knew it we were reading books about the life cycles sharks and eating boiled eggs and toast in the garden.

Spent most of the rest of the day in the back garden, pottering about and then a quick walk down by the river and a wee paddle about for the older buys before home for a cracking pizza.

'This tastes just like pizza spress daddy'. Praise indeed from the middle son.
