Grey Heron

There were 4 heron today but they met me outside the park and caused havok. 3 landed in gardens and one stopped the traffic by landing on the road. I am going to have to change my route to the loch by following an old railway walkway up and over to a lane which will take me in the back entrance to the park. Even if they work that route out they will be away from the traffic. In other news the coot came over with her chicks - the extra shows her washing the fish for one of the chicks, the other is eating another piece. The shot is the little female!
