Off up to Gatehouse of Fleet for a visit with the Galloway Gardeners.
Most interesting and varied garden with plenty to see.
Sadly the weather had turned rainy and the midges came out in unprecedented numbers the group generally agreeing so.
Cancelled the afternoon visit to the other nearby garden for another day as the rain was forecast to become heavier.
Just grabbed a coffee and scone then headed home via boots the chemist for anthisan cream then the garden centre in Newton Stewart for compost, grit and three plants.
