Pride

This year City Hall in Belfast became the first building to take part in the EU 'Illuminate' scheme, where European landmarks are lit up by coloured lights on certain occasions. So for example here in Belfast it's green for St Patrick's Day, red and yellow on Chinese New Year and orange on the most annoying day of the year, "Orangefest" aka the 12th July (don't even get me started on the name Orangefest...).

Today was Belfast Pride, so of course City Hall was lit up in glorious rainbow colours! There was a lovely atmosphere around town all day, the sun was shining, everyone was happy and I'm sure there are some serious parties going on tonight! I think City Hall looked suitably fabulous :)
