Elsinore Castle (Day 2)
Instead of driving over The Bridge of tv and Scandi-noir fame, we took a short (20 minutes) ferry from Helsingborg to Helsingör. From the ferry I took this picture of Kronborg castle in Denmark.
In Shakespeare’s day the Danish town was known as Elsinore, and this castle was therefore known as Elsinore Castle.
The ferry we crossed on was “The Hamlet”! That Shakespeare was a very influential man!
Once we arrived in Denmark we took the beautiful coastal road south towards Hanne and Peter, friends of Jan’s from her university days. More news of that on Jan’s blip!
