Banking On A Pizza, Tenterden
I kept up with my resolution to run everyday this week. Me and my brother ran down to the village and back. Again I found it a bit of a slog but managed to keep going. We've now learnt that the restaurant there that closed just after Christmas is going to re-open at the end of next week under a new owner so that was a bit of welcome news.
I've also delved into the Music & Meditation Podcast on BBC Sounds and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It was full of common sense, lovely music and the meditation part was very soothing - I'm going to stick with it.
I managed to finish off the two photo books I've been working on and send them off for printing so I can't wait to see the results. Hopefully they'll be good!
Today's micro trip was to Tenterden where we tried out This Ancient Boro Tapas & Ale Bar. We had three delicious tapas dishes between us and a beer each.
On the way back I took today's image - it's of an old bank branch (I reckon in five years there won't be any bank branches left in most towns and villages at all, which is disgraceful) which has been turned into a Domino's pizza outlet - it was celebrating it's first day of opening with an archway of colourful balloons. As we walked past these teenagers appeared (it was school kicking out time) and there was my shot.
