Yorkshire Wolds Railway

Camera club evening at "Fimber Halt" the home of Yorkshire Wolds Railway. It was an industrial lead track which was closed due to the quarry that was its main customer closed, so not one of Mr Beeching's notches on the bedstead.
The site is being developed slowly by the all volunteer staff, a new building has been granted planning permission to give covered restoration work space. Adjacent land owners are in principal not adverse to the track being extended to Wetwang.
