Preparing

We have our local quiz gathering tomorrow and I undertook to do a pudding. Well it turned into two as one needed 9 egg yolks so of course I couldn’t waste the whites.

So, a toffee apple popcorn pie is one, and gooey brown-sugar meringues with a white chocolate mousse and coffee syrup, the other.

Sticky fingers all round but there was a great smell in the kitchen.

How they taste will only be figured out tomorrow but the little bit meringue we shared was delicious.
