Tootsie trimming....

An early start today to get round everything before the foot trimmer arrived at 9am.
This is the first time Tim has been here. If the crate looks familiar it's because it has been here many times over the years. However Roy has retired from trimming feet and sold his kit to Tim.
He worked away steadily until we had everything done by 3 pm. I carted the bulls out to the field as they were done,the cows will get run out to a field on Monday. Total was 32 cows and 6 bulls. It should have been 7 bulls,but when I went to bring a limousin over from next door he started playing silly buggers and wouldn't come out the shed, facing up to me and wee brother. So he can stay lame,and if his manners don't improve he will be down the road as I'm not putting up with that shit,no matter how shapey he is.
Littlemiss was helping today,but now both her and Junior are away out to see friends,one to Edinburgh,the other to Glasgow. Must be great to be young as I wouldn't have the energy tonight !
