More planting today, and it’s been lovely. The vanilla and yellow marigolds make the mailbox more attractive, plus the dear deer won’t bother with them. The runner beans are in, fingers crossed they grow like crazy this summer, but unfortunately our dear deer like them too. Another favorite are giant marigolds. By the end of the season they will look like a big bush full of yellow flowers. Can’t wait! The planter on our deck no longer looks naked with these colorful begonias. So cheerful to look at. We admired them this afternoon while enjoying a beer, praising ourselves for all our hard work today :) More to do tomorrow, weather dependent • Cheerio!
