Cerise, Lemon & Blue

What's great about summer is how even the mongrel architecture in this non-descript street suddenly comes alive.

You can feel the heat as the colours zing out at you, the angle of my Nikkor 10-24mm lens (& polariser) making it all giddy and slightly precocious. How different these streets look in dull, wintry weather.

Though I distortion corrected the image, I'm not sure about the correctness in building standards - look how the end of the building on the right goes way up! And, I am carefully standing in the middle of the scene, between two parked cars, actually.

To look in LARGE

Editing the 100's of images from the exhausting Carnival yesterday now becomes number one task and I've still yet to finish doing the Altar Club ones from last Saturday! And then there's Andy Murray to watch in the Wimbledon finals this afternoon. And, er, not to lose out on all this delicious weather, a day-trip to Bournemouth beach has to be indulged at some point soon, possibly tomorrow? So, another sunny Blip then, then.

Viewing and commenting on journals may have slipped a little and I do need to restrict my total time spent in front of the PC but I sure hope to get back up to speed very soon.

I had notification that my Milky Bar Kid Blip of yesterday had got into the Spotlights, but I was asleep when this happened. As ever, thanks to all for helping it get there.

Have a lovely rest of Sunday folks and here's to a Murray win!!
