A good beer

It's been interesting to live through the resurgence, then the struggles, of the craft beer sector in the UK.

Hospitality and the supply chains that feed it are having a hard time at the moment. I try to do my bit by buying from smaller brands when I can. Northern Monk seem to be doing OK, including selling through large supermarkets.

This was a very tasty, strong hazy IPA and went well with the barbecue we put on for friends and neighbours.

It's my wife's birthday next week, so this was our chance to get people together and celebrate.
