Innovative nesting by a female sparrow

I waited for her take-off which seemed to rather daunt her. But she made it and disappeared with more nesting material. I hope the eggs don't fall away from this rather precarious site.

On the other side are the red and green lights of a road crossing.

I like watching sparrows as we never see them in our garden. How strange that is.
