Old Friends

Back blip

Quite a tight day plan-wise, but we managed it. Breakfast in the bed and breakfast in Largs. Goodbyes in my mum-in-law’s next door to the b and b. Always a bit sad and she said that she was sorry that we had to go :-( Then the drive to Edinburgh, dropped Dot’s car back at her house, taxi with our bags to meet up with old friends Cameron (one of our best man at our wedding) and Richard, also at our wedding, at Cafe Royal. Great to see them again, slipped very easily into old familiar banter and lots of hoots! Crikey, we miss this. Tram to the airport, back to Barcelona and home. Our house is all ok. Plants and veggies all growing since we left. Potential blips. Walk in our barrio and a shared pizza round the corner. It feels like we’ve been gone longer than two weeks.
