Montrose air station

It is several years since I last visited the Montrose air station. During the journey from Aberdeen to and from Montrose I felt at times I was lost in the mist. However I found Montrose through the mist, it occurred to me that it would not be a good day for flying.

I was surprised how busy the museum was today. The car park was full when I arrived.

Main picture shows a Spitfire. The extras, the plane with the orange wings  is a de Havilland Sea Vampire. The green plane is a Sopwith Camel, the rather flimsy looking pane a BE2a, and finally a Jeep.
