Welcome Committee

This cute face greeted me when I came home this afternoon, after having been at my mother’s house for most of the day. Her German carer Frau G had organized a barbecue with her extended family - three generations, including her grandchildren’s other grandmother, who immigrated from Greece some 50 years ago.

My mother was confused by the invasion of strangers at first, but then she obviously enjoyed the company and the food.  I also enjoyed meeting the family, but was so busy helping in the kitchen that I forgot to take any pictures.
