Spot the Ball

Today we went to Salford to see the Warriors in action again. Wigan have several gears and usually play in the one that gets the job done. It worked last season.

Today they won away, 26-6, with most of the points coming in the first half. After half time the weather turned quite dramatically from mild sunny intervals to driving rain, thunder, lightning and even hail! Not conducive to slick, free flowing rugby league!

It fined up for us to walk back to the car, but there were times when we were paddling!

Motorway conditions haven't been great either, but it doesn't stop some people driving like idiots.. We're about an hour from home now, eating in the service station.

I have gin in the fridge and I might have a couple with tonic tonight! After we've fed Minstrel of course.
