Trees in Fairmilehead Park

A bit misty to start, but the Pentland Hills are visible. A nice wee daunder around the park. Not much time, so the only photo I took was of the trees in the park. They are all now fully in leaf.

After lunch, a walk down to Morningside to get weekend groceries, not many required this week. Very pleasant in the sunshine. Far too warm for even a thin jacket. So partner and I visit the charity shops that are open. For some reason, some are shut, surprising as they would be open on a holiday weekend. I had to get a couple of things from a newsagent, as after, we carried on walking to visit more charity shops, until coffee time. We visit a new, to us, café. So it would be rude not to try the cakes.

In the evening, watched the The 1% Club, a quiz show with questions that get more difficult. It starts off with 100 participant, each participant has £1,000, and each question has been asked to the public in general. There are a series of questions that get progressively more difficult. If you get a question wrong, then you don't progress, and the £1,000 gets added to the prize fund. The prize fund is then distributed by any participants who made it to the final question, and get the answer correct.

After, we catch up with Red Eye, a thriller set on a plane flying from London to Beijing.
