Big shoes to fill?

She's filling her own shoes very nicely, thank you- no one else's really matter.

We took a 40km round trip to Marken, classed as a 'former island' due to the dyke that now connects it to the mainland. It was a lovely spot,  but cycling that dyke on the return leg in wind and rain was tough.
Apart from being rather saddle sore, it was a lovely trip starting in the city clogged with tourists into the wide open flatness of Northern Holland.

The extra was us waiting to ride off the free river ferry to Centraal Station.
